About me
As a passionate SEN tutor, I understand that every child is unique and deserving of a tailored educational approach that fosters their strengths and supports their challenges. I aim to create a bespoke developing and learning experience based on the individual needs and interests of each young person that I tutor, allowing them to thrive and flourish in confidence, self-esteem and knowledge. I have 25 years of experience as a teacher in a variety of school settings, where I have worked with young people with a range of SEN needs, and I have spent the last 7 years teaching in an SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) setting, working with students who have complex and diverse needs, including autism, anxiety, ADHD, ODD, and varied other emotional and behavioural needs, as well as victims of trauma and abuse.

Something Sensational About Me
I adore experiencing other cultures and I have travelled to numerous countries, including backpacking around India, Egypt and Thailand.
I find that travel broadens my perspective, deepens my understanding of the world, and enriches my personal growth. Each culture offers unique traditions, values, and ways of thinking that inspire me to be more open-minded and adaptable. I find joy in connecting with people from diverse backgrounds, learning their stories, and appreciating the beauty of different customs, cuisines, languages, and lifestyles. It fosters a sense of shared humanity and reminds me of the richness that diversity brings to life.
